DLC Proto Tyler

Howllo everyone!

I've been meaning to release a DLC character for a bit to show how easy it is to add your very own character into the game! I have created a tutorial of the process, but sometimes having a physical (digital) file example of it would help. So that is what Proto-Tyler is here for! Who is Tyler? They are a Red Fox Box by default, and if you played any of my other games such as Cloudy with a Side of Mashed Pataters and Expandyssey: The Elastic Modulus then the lil red character you see is Tyler! They may not always be a fox, but they're mostly a box! I created them for use in prototyping, and so they have many forms. This DLC gives you their Proto form, their crude box shape I created for prototyping the Character addon for this very game! So here is how you add them in:

STEP 1: Folder Location!

If you haven't already, run the game once to create the "Characters" folder that will be in the location described below:

• Windows: Windows has all files in the %localappdata%\ChowdownShowdown directory (on Windows 7 this is the /Users/<User Name>/AppData/Local/ChowdownShowdown directory). 
• Alternatively, just copy and paste the path %localappdata%\ChowdownShowdown\Characters to automatically be in the folder.

STEP 2: Add them in! 

Download the DLC, extract the zip file, and place the extracted "DLC_Proto_Tyler" folder into the directory from Step 1.

STEP 3: Have Fun!

That's all you need to do to add Tyler! Or any other DLC character I, you, or anyone makes!

Now it's YOUR turn to add your character to the game!

FAQ:

Q: I've placed the folder in the Characters folder, but I still don't see them in game!

A: You may need to check two things, 1) Make sure that the folder placed in "Characters" folder is the folder level with the Struct.ini file and that it is not nested in another folder as the game only goes one file deep when looking for addon characters, or 2) If you placed them in while running the game, you'll need to restart your game to see any changes take affect. They addon characters are loaded at the start of the game.
