Just a quick prototype that I put together. There are 5 elements to discover and 9 Nonograms to solve! I still need to do more refinement in the Nonogram and Alchemy game loops so they are more up to basic standards (it should go without mentioning that the puzzles are not finalized and still need more work), but just wanted to show what lil I got so far :3

Controls:
Left Click: Interact/Fill a Square
Right Click: Place an X

Click and drag elements from the Elements Pool (once you complete their respective Nonogram) onto the creation area to fuse them and discover new elements. Drag elements to the Trash Can or the Elements Pool to get rid of them. Click on the Trash Can to remove all the elements from the creation area.

For some reason, it won't let me back out to the main menu after I finish a puzzle. I'm trying to click the back button, but it's not working. Double-clicking it only makes the screen red and I don't know why. Maybe it's an incognito mode thing...

Edit: it is not an incognito mode issue. happens on regular chrome too

Iirc the button placement is in the same spot as itchio's button overlay that can sometimes interfere with the game window, lemme add a full screen mode and see if that patches it until I move the button away from that corner :/

It did work! Though I also managed to get it working without fullscreen mode. Just had to scroll down a bit until the Back button was above the itch.io buttons

This is an interesting combination game! I would like to see more.

Love the prototype, and I'm looking forward to the full game.

Thank you :3

Would be nice if I could cross out obviously empty squares by my self. But for now it's kinda frustrating.

It wasn't working at my first playthrough.

Guess I got lucky on the software sync roulette.

I'm hoping now its responding properly, let me know if its still being a pain about letting you right click to place those Xs and I'll see what I could do to fix it ;3
