V1.2 Couch Coop and Imports
Howllo everyone!
It's time for another update. This one came out later than expected, but I added something in that I was going to implement later which was character imports! You can currently import characters and edit minor things in game such as your level progress. I'll be releasing a tutorial later along with my first DLC. So anyways, this update includes the following:
- Couch Co-op (with split-screen)
- Early Modability (can import characters and edit a few values)
- Basic Fullscreen (GUI glitches slightly, and resolution not perfectly corrected)
- After exiting a level, you are placed next to that level door
- Added 2 new characters and a new level
- Change game icon so it is no longer just a Gamemaker Logo
Now I wish to be a little more ambitious by adding in online multiplayer, since in this day and age it is not quite all that viable to have a buddy over when you would like. I'll be adding in more characters and improving the S.I.M. (Script Interpreter Manager, aka the script that reads the mod scripts), and hopefully flesh out a few more mechanics that could make for a fun time. Most likely this update will happen sometime in December as I'll be participating in a game jam this month (which I will use to analyze and learn some code, mainly the multiplayer code hopefully :3 )
